The courses listed are Los Rios courses, but the courses do not need to be taken within the Los Rios district. For course equivalencies, please contact our counseling department at 691-7316. All courses listed must be completed prior to applying to the DMS program, and must be completed with a "B" grade or better. Any additional GE courses taken for the degree must be completed with a "C" grade or better.
Tuition for this program depends on the current state budget in regards to the per-unit cost. Other expenses would include but are not limited to: books, background checks/drug screen, liability insurance, and/or other miscellaneous materials. At this time, we have not made the final decision whether this will be a day or evening program but we are leaning towards evening classes. The clinical rotations, however, will be at varying times of day including some swing and/or graveyard shifts.
We will be starting the accreditation process in the spring of 2011 once we have a program director on staff. This process takes approximately two years.
