Why Study in Paris?
Paris also offers fascinating theatrical and musical entertainment. Paris theater is reviving, concerts are frequent and varied and opera is among the best in Western Europe. Paris enjoys varied weather. Snow rarely falls, but winter tends to be cold and at times, rainy. Summer is hot, autumn pleasant and spring frequently divine-flowers and trees blooming by March or April. One can rave about Paris food, about her shops, wine, charm, architecture, night life and unique way of life. Paris is an experience worthy of everyone's discovery. 
Academic Life: Courses are taught by faculty from the home campus and other partnership campuses and carry acadmeic credit from their school. Courses are specially selected to maximized the benefits of being in Paris. Classrooms are conveniently located on-site.
Student Life
Accommodations/meals: Students on the program will be housed in twin-bedded rooms in dorm-style accommodations, each with its own bathroom (sink, Shower and toilet). Bright and pleasantly decorated, these facilities have self-service cafeterias as well as classrooms and meeting rooms.
Social Life: AIFS staff advise students on how to benefit most from the social and cultural life in Paris. In addition, they arrange group visits and excursions to places of interest in and around Paris to reinforce the academic program. One or more events are planned each week, which are subsidized by the social and cultural fund included in the AIFS fee. Typical activities are likely to include a guided tour of the Louver, a visit to Fountainebleau (a Renaissance chateau), dinner in a Parisian bistro, a trip to Versailles (the palace of the Sun King), and the cathedral of Notre Dame.
