CHEM 306 Prerequisite
The prerequisite for CHEM 306 is CHEM 305 with a grade of "C" or better required. Evidence of meeting the prerequisite must be submitted on Tuesday, January 19th, failure to do so will result in your being dropped from the class.
If you took CHEM 305 at a Los Rios college, your instructor should have a record of your meeting the prerequisite, but you might want to bring a copy of your courses (unofficial printout is ok) to class just in case. If you did not take CHEM 305 at a Los Rios college, you will need to have your transcripts evaluated by a counselor. Your instructor cannot and will not evaluate your transcripts. You need to have this done by the first class meeting, failure to do so will result in your being dropped from the class.
If you have taken CHEM 300 or CHEM 400 at a Los Rios college, that will qualify as meeting the prerequisite for CHEM 306. If you took the equivalent of CHEM 300 or 400 at a college outside the District you will will need to have your transcripts evaluated by a counselor. Your instructor cannot and will not evaluate your transcripts. You need to have this done by the first class meeting, failure to do so will result in your being dropped from the class.
