AMATYC Math Contest Results
Spring AMATYC Math Contest results are in and the students did an outstanding job on the test. We had 38 students take the test many of whom had never taken the AMATYC Math Test before. All prizes and awards will given during the awards ceremony, which is part of Math Awareness week in April. What follows is the top 7 scores and their prizes:

In addition Jeffrey Kelly and April Pangelinan who are students in Professor Pico’s math classes received the two highest scores in the separate category for students who have not yet taken calculus. Although Jeffrey is in intermediate algebra and April is in trigonometry they received higher scores than many of the students who are taking more advanced math courses. Great Job April and Jeffrey! Both April and Jeffrey will receive a free Stewart Calculus book
