Cultural Event Chairs Handbook
The CRC administrative team and the Cultural Competence and Equity Committee acknowledge that the successful coordination of a cultural event is very time consuming and requires a variety of skills (such as organization, time management, project management, meeting organization and planning, etc.). It also requires knowledge of campus processes, procedures and organization structures. The Cultural Competence and Equity Committee has developed this handbook to provide further assistance and support with event coordination. The handbook includes a planning guide that provides a concise outline of the major tasks and responsibilities involved in event coordination (page 3), outlines the basic information required for event coordination, includes general directions for each of the major processes involved. Examples of relevant forms and processes can be found by following the Examples of Forms button on the left navigation bar.
Sincerely,
Katherine McLain, Executive Secretary
Cultural Competence and Equity Committee
