Calisphere is the University of California's gateway to more than 150,000 digitized primary source items that "reveal the diverse history and culture of California." Its content "has been selected from ... the UC campuses, and from a variety of cultural heritage organizations." Searchable, or browsable by individual subjects or themed collections, which are "primary source sets organized to support California [K-12] Content Standards." Cultural Competency Basics offers interesting tips on communication skills including nonverbal communication, and contains a bibliography to other articles on diversity. Diversity Web, a part of the Association of American Colleges and Universities, is designed to provide a comprehensive compendium of campus practices and resources for campus practitioners seeking to place diversity at the center of the academy's educational and societal mission. Website includes information and resources on diversity innovations, research and trends and information on issues of diversity and democracy. Lannan is a foundation "dedicated to cultural freedom, diversity and creativity through projects which support exceptional contemporary artists and writers, as well as inspired Native activists in rural indigenous communities." The audio archives contain over 65 audio programs that feature thinkers who have participated in the "Readings & Conversations" and "Bookworm" series. The site also includes information about grant programs in literature, visual art, cultural preservation, and social justice. http://www.lannan.org/

Memory of the World is a database of digitized collections and projects worldwide reflecting "the diversity of languages, peoples and cultures." Entries include the country, collection name and web address, a brief description, type of material, and language. U.S. National Film Registry was established in 1988 to choose up to 25 "culturally, historically, or aesthetically important films" each year that would "illustrate the vibrant diversity of American film-making." USC Shoah Foundation Institute: This website has an archive of nearly 52,000 videotaped testimonies from Holocaust survivors and other witnesses. Currently they are collecting memories of survivors and witnesses to the Rwandan Tutsi Genocide. www.college.usc.edu/vhi
