Course books

SPRING 2012 REFUND POLICY:

FULL TERM CLASSES: Last day for a refund is Friday, January 20, 2012 or Friday, January 27, 2012 with proof of drop. FALL RENTAL BOOKS must be returned no later than Friday, May 18, 2012.

1. A current student I.D. or Driver’s License is required for all returns.
2. It is the responsibility of the student to purchase the correct book for their classes. Staff is not responsible for books purchased.
3. Books purchased new MUST be free from writing, marks, bent corners and completely intact. If not, the USED purchase price may be refunded.
4. Books purchased in shrink-wrap, that may be opened, must be returned with all accompanying components (example: CD, study guides, etc.) CD envelopes must be unopened and any access codes must be unused and /or not scratched off.
5. Without exception, when a used book is exchanged for a new book, the price difference must be paid
6. Digital textbooks are not refundable if activated or "scratched".
7. One day classes - NO REFUNDS AFTER CLASS STARTS.

General Information
1. Books and merchandise with a "NO RETURN IF UNWRAPPED" sticker may not be returned if the item is unwrapped. Defective merchandise will be exchanged for like merchandise.
2. Special orders and sale merchandise are NOT refundable.
3. Books and merchandise must be returned to the place of purchase.
4. No refunds on County of Sacramento or Department of Rehabilitation Checks.

Software and Merchandise
1. Software must be in original, sealed packaging and in new condition.
2. The CD and/or box cannot be opened, unwrapped, and/or used.
3. If software CD is defective, it can be exchanged for a replacement as long as all of the original packaging and the damaged CD has been returned.
4. Supplies not in original packaging, in opened packaging, or not in new condition may not be refunded.
