Step 3: Online Orientation

After completing your assessment, the next step is to complete an orientation session. Orientation is is now available Online ONLY. The Orientation gives you:

  • the basics of college programs and services

  • what you can expect of CRC

  • what CRC expects of you

All first-time and other interested students or parents are strongly encouraged to participate in an orientation and course planning session. For more information 916- 691-7324 Monday-Thursday 7:30am-7:00pm and Fridays 7:30am-4:00pm.

You will learn about college programs, services and facilities as well as student development and leadership opportunities. Counseling staff will assist you with course selection and provide academic advice. New students who participate in orientation and assessment are allowed to register at the same time as continuing students (Priority Registration - registration is chosen for you - enrollment appointment, by random selection). You will also learn about graduation and transfer requirements and receive hints to help you succeed in college. What you learn in orientation will make things much easier for you during your time here.
