You've applied ONLINE, taken the assessment, completed orientation/course planning and a counseling appointment (optional). Now it's time to register for classes. Cosumnes River College's "Online Registration and Telephone Enrollment Service (TES)" makes that step very convenient by using your own computer or touch-tone telephone to register. You can also register in person on campus. Complete registration information is provided in the class schedule.
First, file for any fee waivers or deferments (ALWAYS apply for Financial Aid, you never know what you might qualify for) select your summer classes or fall classes and develop a tentative schedule. Then you're ready to complete online/telephone/walk-in enrollment. Please follow the instructions below, or use the worksheet in the class schedule. By having all information ready, online and telephone registration will be much easier. Registration dates and times are listed in the class schedule or online.
Continuing Student Registration (Priority 1)
Continuing students (those already taking classes at the college) or new students who met the orientation deadline (see Step 1) are given priority to register. Continuing students register in November for the spring semester and in May for the fall semester. Continuing students need only complete a Student Supplemental Data sheet to be eligible for early registration. See the class schedule for specific dates.
Other Student Registration (Priority 2)
If you are a new or continuing student who missed the timeline for early registration, a student returning after an absence, or a student transferring from another college, you may register during Priority 2 (January for spring semester; May for summer and fall classes). Any student new to the college must complete both an Application and Supplemental Data sheet for admission. These must be submitted to the Admissions/Records Office.
