2008-2009 Deadlines & Priority Dates
CRC Priority Deadline for 2009-2010: March 2, 2009*
To ensure that you will meet the CRC priority deadline, you must mail or complete online your FAFSA between January 1 and March 2; for every year you plan to attend CRC. Student must also submit all required documents to the Financial Aid Office by the last day of attendance (End of term: December 18, 2008 for fall 2008 semester and May 20, 2010 for the spring 2010 semester). Student who complete their applications after March 2 may risk delay and longer processing time especially during peak processing periods.
Final Deadline- For aid consideration, the student's valid ISIR and all required documentation must be received by the dates listed for each of the following enrollment period: Fall 2009 semester only is December 18, 2009 (end of fall semester); for fall and spring of 2009-2010 or spring 2010 semester only is May 20, 2010 (the last day of of the school year/spring semester).
*Priority deadline is applicable to funding from the limited Federal Work Study (FWS) and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) Programs. Applicants may continue to apply after the priority deadline; however not all funds will be available, and award notifications will be late.
Cal Grant March 2, 2010, Deadline
New Cal Grant applicants must complete Section A of the GPA Form and submit the form to the appropriate school for Verification. Allow time for the school to verify your GPA and for the return of the GPA Form to California Student Aid Commission by the March 2, 2010 deadline.
All new and continuing Cal Grant applicants must mail the FAFSA by March 2, 2010, to be considered for the Cal Grant.
Competitive Cal Grant September 2, 2010, Deadline
Applicants must complete the GPA Form and the FAFSA requirements as listed in the earlier March 2 deadline, but by September 2, 2010, to be considered for the Competitive Cal Grant competition for community college students.
