Student Development

The Student Development Office (SDO): Located in the Library Lobby, room L - 103. The SDO offers a variety of ways for students to become involved in campus life. Campus clubs, Associated Student Government, Inter Club Council and the Student Ambassador Program are all housed out of the SDO.

Clubs: When you join or lead a club, you will have the opportunity to networking with like minded people on campus. Clubs offer diversified social and educational opportunities. Each club must have a faculty advisor and be approved by the Student Development Office. There is a Student Club Liaison who can help you through this process. A list of clubs is located in the SDO.

The River Hawk: is a newsletter that is published twice per month. It is full of current campus happenings that will be of interest to the students.

Housing, Bus Schedules, Rideshare: Although Cosumnes River College does not provide dormitories or other types of accommodations for students who are enrolled at the institution, it does maintain a current available Housing and Apartment list and board in the Student Development Office. Bus schedules and rideshare information are also available in the Student Development Office.

Other services include: Assistance to clubs and the ASG, on campus events, postings & posters, student staff badges, events and fund-raising assistance, graduation, honors & awards ceremonies, and cultural events.
