Welcome to CARE
This state-funded program provides students with academic and personal counseling, career planning, academic and community referrals, peer support & tutoring, workshops, financial aid in child care and/or transportation, meal vouchers, etc.
To be eligible, students must be:
- Eligible for the Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOP&S) program
- A recipient of AFDC / TANF / CalWORKs
- A single head of household
- A California resident
- A parent of at least one child age 13 or under (at time of acceptance into the CARE program)
- At least 18 years of age
- A full-time student (registered for a min. of 12 units) with a vocational or academic objective
