Welcome to the Assessment Center at Cosumnes River College

The Assessment Center provides a variety of testing services to help you in determining correct course selection. Academic placement assessments are scheduled regularly, and include English writing and reading, Mathematics, and English as a Second Language. The Assessment Center also administers, by appointment only, Math Graduation Competency, English as a Second Language (ESL), and the Ability-to-Benefit test.

Initial (first) assessments for course placement, the Ability-to-Benefit test, and Graduation Competency exams are provided at no cost only to students with a valid Cosumnes River College student ID number.
