The California Smokers' Helpline (CSH) is a telephone program that can help you quit smoking. Helpline services are free, funded by the California Department of Public Health and by First 5 California. SmokefreeTXT was created to provide 24/7 encouragement, advice, and tips to help smokers quit smoking and stay quit. The program has a proven track record of success: after one month, 17% of text program users reported that they had quit smoking and 11% were able to stay quit through 6 months.
