Steps to Becoming a CRC Student-Athlete

Step 1: Make “First Contact”
In accordance with the rules and regulations established by the Commission on Athletics (COA) in California, you (the student) must establish "First Contact with Cosumnes River College Athletics. Click on the following link to make first contact: First Contact Recruit Form

Step 2: Application
If you already applied to the college go to Step 3

Step 3: Assessment
The Assessment Instrument is used to identify your skill level for English or ESL & Mathematics course placement. To find a schedule of times offered:

Step 4: Meet with the Athletic Counselor
The athletic counselor will create with you an academic plan during your time at CRC and will also go over with you athletic eligibility requirements.

If you are transfer student, make sure you have ALL other college transcripts with you when you meet with the Athletic Counselor.
