Work Experience and Internship Program
The Work Experience and Internship Program exists to help students have the best internship experience possible while earning units toward their degree or certificate.
Position Yourself for Success
Internships give you the chance to explore your interests, find out what inspires you, and build a professional network. Plus, internships often lead to full-time employment!
If you are already working in your chosen career path, then turning your job into an internship can help you increase your advancement opportunities – such as getting a promotion or taking on higher-level job responsibilities.
Getting Started
Make an appointment with Cosumnes River College's Work Experience Program Office to get started. Then, check out our helpful guides and resources for students:
- You must have a Student ID to access the appointment system.
- A desktop or laptop computer works best. Smart phones and tablets may work, but are limited in what they can do.
- A working webcam.
- A working microphone.
- Web browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari (desktop or iOS) required, or a smartphone with the Zoom app downloaded. Internet Explorer is not compatible.
Online appointments are available by phone or video Monday through Friday.
