What is MI CASA?
The Multicultural Innovative Community for Academic Success and Achievement (MI CASA) is a Hispanic Serving Institute (HSI) Grant Program federally funded by the Department of Education. Our goal is to provide a safe space that feels like home away from home. MI CASA provides extra support for new and continuing Latino/a/x students to reach their academic goals. These students can receive support from Success Coaches, a designated Counselor, receive priority registration, and be part of a new student community.
Que es MI CASA?
La comunidad innovadora multicultural para el éxito y los logros académicos (MI CASA) es un programa del instituto de servicios Hispano (HSI) financiado federalmente por el Departamento de Educacion. Nuestro objective es bindar un espacio seguro que se sienta como un hogar lejos del hogar. MI CASA brinda apoyo adicional para que los estudiantes latinos/a/x nuevos y continuos alcancen sus metas académicas. Estos estudiantes pueden recibir apoyo de success coaches, un consejero designado, recibir inscripción prioritaria y ser parte de una nueva comunidad estudiantil.

- Priority registration for MI CASA’s students enrolled in 9+ units (1 minimum at CRC)
- Enrolled in a designated canvas course

- Chromebooks available for use while in the MI CASA Center
- Space to build community and feel at home
- Professional development for CRC community
